Very fine classical carved and figured mahogany game table, having a "D" shaped top with crotch mahogany veneers and crossbanded edge, set on an urn form acanthus carved column raised on four sweeping reeded and acanthus carved sabre legs ending in carved paw feet. Original condition, cracking and losses to veneers, mostly both sections of top. Attributed to the workshop of Duncan Phyfe, New York, circa 1805-10. 36" wide, 18" deep, 30" high.
