Oil/acrylic on canvas, signed to verso. Bold and evocative abstract composition in a plethora of color, painted wooden frame. About the Artist: Graduate of the Mirabeau B. Lamar High School in Houston, she studied fine arts at Washington University in Saint Louis. Awarded the John T. Milliken Fellowship to travel and study in Europe in 1952. Settled in Paris 1955, working at Atelier 17 under Paul Burlin and Stanley William Hayter until the close of the 1960s. She remained in Paris for the rest of her life. 50" height, 36.5" width
