The company had purchased 2 claims, 40 acres, six miles from Yreka, on the divide between two of the richest placer creeks in Northern California. A good wagon road runs from Yreka to the mouths of the tunnels. It had a five stamp mill, rock crushers, concentrator, etc. When this was written there had been 1,000' of shaft work completed.
