(Disneyland, c.1986-88) An original promotional painting heralding the Disneyland Circus Fantasy entertainment spectacular of three spring seasons from 1986 to 1988. The dynamic painting depicts a tiger leaping through the central hoop, as a harbinger of the return of "big cats" to Disneyland for the first major event in 30 years! Accomplished in airbrush, acrylic and charcoal on thick-stock Strathmore art paper, the work retains a Disney copyright paste-up applied beneath the artwork, at bottom right. Measuring 26"x17" on a 29.25"x23" leaf, the artwork is in very good condition with some bunching to the red tape mask, some adhesive residue in the top blank border from a prior protective overlay, light marginal scuffing, and minor edge wear.
