(Walt Disney World, 1972-2016) A large collection of (42) Walt Disney World anniversary Cast Member commemorative buttons, pins, and ribbons. Every year, Cast Members would be given these unique collectibles to wear on their uniforms in commemoration of Walt Disney World's grand opening on October 1, 1971. The set includes these items from the following anniversaries – vinyl ribbons: 13 and 15; molded plastic pins: 1, 5, 8 (missing backing), 9, 10, 11, and 12 (missing backing); enamel pins: 15 and 20; pin-back buttons: 10 (press club), 10 (standard), 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 40 (resort), 40 (Magic Kingdom), and 45. The set is accompanied by these additional anniversary pin-back buttons: The Empress Lilly 10, Walt Disney World Village 10, and two Epcot 30. The pieces range in size from 1" in diameter to 3" in diameter and are generally in very good condition with surface wear, rubbing, and light oxidation to a few.
