Porcelain pitcher decorated by noted Handel decorator and Meriden, CT painter Albert Parlow. American, late 19th - early 20th century. European or American porcelain painted in Meriden by Handel Ware. Albert Parlow painted this piece, which depicts a young woman in a dress decorated with grape leaves. She wears a veil behind her head, and a wreath of grapes on top of her head. She hold a bunch of grapes in her right hand. Hand painted. Signed A.M. Parlow. Gilding on handle, rim, and band around bottom of body. Green and pink paint / finish on portions of vase. Some wear on rim, handle, other parts of vase.
