Description
This is a great looking antique mechanical bank called Prudential Registering Bank which registers nickels on one side and dimes on the other. Has a US Patent date of February 25, 1890 which was assigned to William Christie, one half of Jungerman Brothers of New York. Patent was for the mechanism that allowed for the coin amount dropped in to be visible from the outside. Measures 7" tall
Condition
Very good for age and use, missing trap door on the nickel side. Â
