The work had lettering addedfor the general exhibition printing run (as here). Miro produced an editioned lithograph of 75 with some special artwork added to the area of the lettering as a separate project on Rives paper. Neither Mourlot's catalog or the catalog produced by Corredor-Matheos mentions signed examples of the poster variation however calling for a print run of 300. The Ulrich Museum catalog does mention a signed example. Very rare. , Provenance: Pierre Matisse Gallery, New York. , Exhibitions: Edwin A. Condition
In very fine condition, the colors fresh and vivid. Slight hardly noticeable toning on the outer edges of the sheet well away from the image.
