Description
Two 19th century British paintings. One a watercolor on paper by "J. Westwood" (n.d.) depicting a man and woman working on a country farm, the other a pastel and watercolor by "L. Staples" (n.d.) depicting a figure walking through a traditional village. Both signed lower right. Minor wear and rippling, slight toning to Westwood, not examined out of frames. Westwood's image measures 14 1/4 x 10 1/4" high, framed 20 x 16 1/4" high overall. Staple's image measures 9 3/4 x 6 3/4" high, in a Gilt wood frame with some flakes, 16 3/4 x 14 1/4" high overall.
