A small easel backing brass frame with hunting motifs. Frame has raised sections of designs to portray foreground and background, with depictions of a hunting rifle, bag and game bird on bottom right corner and a circle reef around picture, top of frame has a game bird and pine trees extending off frame, sides of frame are brass with star like etchings and back of frame depicts a fox sitting amongst trees. The inner frame is a natural moss green stone, possibly tourmaline. Stored in Smalls Area Approximately 3.75 in tall and 2.25 in wide. Condition is consistent with antique age and exposure, stone has cracking, discoloration due to exposure.
