WWI gov. bond poster by Harry S. Bressler, c1918

Frame: 29" x 42"
Poster: 26" x 39"

This poster was originally created in 1917 by Harry S. Bressler for Third Liberty Loan. The poster was printed by United States Printing and Lithograph Co. and issued by the Department of the Treasury War Loan Organization.

Harry Bressler was born in 1893 and had Jewish parents in Austria. He lived in New Jersey and was a political cartoonist for the New York Daily Mirror. He was also a painter and propaganda artist. Bressler died in 1962.
