Description
Large sepia tone gelatin silver antique photograph of a uniformed brass band, possibly the Berea Light Guards Band of Berea, Ohio, as an 1892 promotional folder for the band is included in an envelope taped to the back of the frame, in which the members "announce themselves ready to furnish band music for all occasions." Or, possibly, the Middleburgh Brass Band, the name printed on an old red satin ribbon also tucked into the envelope. Not examined out of frame. Frame, approx. 22 1/2" x 18 1/2", sight, approx. 14 1/2" x 10 1/4".
