The heart formed in very high relied on as a trefoil raised curvilinear border with the bottom terminals formed as trefoils filling the sides. The trefoil was a very popular symbol in Viking decoration, undoubtedly with spiritual significance. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold restored for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
