ANTIQUE RUSSIAN GILT SILVER ENAMEL EGG PENDANT, OSKAR PIHL
A Russian Egg Pendant, made of 88 gilt silver, with an admirable dark brown base exterior, adorned with yellow, white, blue, green enamelled floral patterns, and depict of Imperial double-headed Eagle, all made in cloisonne technique.
Marked on the gilt loop with Russian hallmarks, '88' Silver mark, and 'OP' for Oscar Pihl (1860-1897) Senior FABERGE's workmaster in Moscow - please see information below.
CONDITION: Overall condition good, light signs of wear. The item is described to the best of our knowledge. Please refer to pictures and email with any questions.

WORKMASTER: Oskar Pihl (1890-1959) Junior, born in Moscow, first name spelled with "k”, the former's son trained with his uncle Albert Holmström, worked as a designer at A. Tillander in Helsinki. Neither Oskar nor his sister Alma had marks of their own.
