African, Nigeria / Cameroon, 20th century. Sengese Mafa (Matakam) f-shaped iron throwing knife form with straight handle, wrapped in hide, and ending in a curl. Provenance: The Private Collection of Mr. Noel F. Parris, Fayetteville, Georgia. Approx. length 24.25" (largest), length 23" (shortest).

Condition

Overall oxidation and wear to leather wrap.
