A scarce long run of this influential journal, Including the rare early issues; lacking only the final double issue (21&22), published in 2016. A number of the issues feature work by Charles Bukowski, as well as many other major voices including Diane Di Prima, Hubert Selby Jr., Gerald Locklin, William Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg, etc.

Jack Grapes began ONTHEBUS in 1989 as a publication featuring Collective poets, but it eventually became a national literary journal including not only the work of poets and writers in the Collective, but work from writers throughout the United States, including translations, book reviews, interviews, essays, and literary criticism.

Varying degrees of general wear to wrappers, a few minuscule chips or tears at spine ends; double issue 8&9 with text block broken at the middle; else very good or better.
