Oak Slant Science Specimen Display Show Case, RPI (1/3). This handsome countertop display case is made of oak, and has a slanted front with stepped shelves inside. It was taken from the science department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, located in Troy, NY. It even still has a handful of specimen stands inside, some with beautiful, flowing cursive on them. There are wooden bars on either side used to prop the lid open, and the number 11 on the topmost part of the lid. A storied showcase great for displaying your items. Dimensions are 31 in h x 61 in w x 36 in d. Condition is good to very good. There is general wear throughout. The wood border on the bottom is missing on one side. The case and lid are both quite heavy. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
