Oak Slant Science Specimen Display Show Case, RPI (3/3). This handsome countertop display case is made of oak, and has a slanted front with stepped shelves inside. It was taken from the science department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, located in Troy, NY. There are wooden bars on either side used to prop the lid open, and the number 62 on the topmost part of the lid. A storied showcase great for displaying your items. Dimensions are 31 in h x 61 in w x 36 in d. Condition is good. General wear throughout. The molding around the base is loose. There are some scratches to the finish. Some side panels are warped. Some adhesive material, presumably used to attach the specimen stands, remains on the shelves. Unlike the previous display showcases, there is no felt inside.
