Pierre Imans Full Body Mannequin w/Wooden Adjustable Arms & Shoes. This is a full body mannequin from legendary mannequin and wax doll maker Pierre Imans from circa 1920s Paris. Imans was famous for making life-like and often gender bending mannequins, well ahead of his time. This androgynous mannequin has a wood core with plaster sculpted legs that have been painted. The arms are made of wood and are fully adjustable. The torso is covered in a linen fabric, which is stamped with "P. Imans Paris." At the center of the torso is a flap covering a chest cavity with a bolt, which most likely keeps top and bottom connected. To finish it all off, the mannequin is wearing beautiful black, leather, lace up shoes. A true gem for the mannequin and fashion enthusiast.
