Description
1st-2nd items: Pair of Chinese Famille Rose porcelain vases both with polychrome decoration depicting young females in a landscape setting beneath flowering trees with character inscriptions to the opposing side. Both with shaped handles, remnants of red wax labels to the rim, and red seal form stamps to the base. 8 3/4" H. 3rd-4th items: Pair of Chinese Famille Rose saucers with polychrome decoration, one depicting a female standing on a balcony holding a fan, the other depicting two females in a landscape setting with flowering tree. Both with inscriptions above the decoration, seals, and red seal stamps to the underside. 5 3/8" dia. Late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: Collection of Thomas M. Alexander, Greeneville, TN, former U.S. Army Captain Airborne/Special Forces during the Late 1960s/Early 1970s in Vietnam. He became a Central Intelligence Agency Field Officer in Southeast Asia, beginning in the Early 1970s until his retirement in 1994.

Condition
All items in overall good condition with minor wear to decoration and gilt rims. Vase with bat handles with minute fleabites to rim and minor wear to decoration.
