LARGE, Chinese jade octagonal lidded fruit box, domed lid supporting the simply flaring bud finial. Carved rococo floral framed each sectional panels dividing the containers unto eight symmetrical sides. Bands of upturning ruyi lappets ribbons encircled toward the finial circumference. All completed with an included hardwood base holding the vase in place in correspondence motif. Jade stone is pristine with a greyish-celadon iridescence and creamy off-white coloration, with attractive sporadic russet hues and creme calcifications, moist slicky appearance. This jade lidded censer conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese jade wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the cleanness, the color, the shape, design, and distinct. The jade is fine and exquisite, the carving smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous.
