Signature: Plate Signed. Numbered: In pencil, lower left. Pablo Picasso create the Suite Vollard between 1930 and 1939 in honor of his friend and art dealer, Ambroise Vollard. The suite is comprised of 100 etchings, illustrating Picasso's most famous themes. In 1990, the Picasso estate authorized an unprecedented recreation of the suite, produced in a limited edition of 300, and published by the German Museum, Stadtichen Milheim an der Ruhr.
