Description
Joseph Michael Medwick (1911 –1975), nicknamed "Ducky", was an American Major League Baseball player. A left fielder with the St. Louis Cardinals during the "Gashouse Gang" era of the 1930s, he also played with the Brooklyn Dodgers (1940–1943, 1946), New York Giants (1943–1945), and Boston Braves (1945). Medwick is the last National League player to win the Batting Triple Crown Award (1937). Medwick was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame by the Baseball Writers' Association of America in 1968. Signed 1960 Fleer baseball card. Medwick has added “ To Larry”. The card was part of a large collection purchased from Heritage Auctions. The card has been pre certified by PSA, but there is no formal documentation.
