Description
Featured in this lot is this Decatur Point from Caradoc, Ontario, circa 9,000 - 7,000 B.P. and aged from The Early Archaic Period. This is a medium triangular point with a flattened cross section and straight edges and a straight base. The point was professionally knapped from an off-yellow chert material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 2 1/8" x 1 1/4". This point was ploughed up in Caradoc Parish, Ontario in 1905.
