Description

For your consideration in this lot is an 1876 first edition of "The life Work of Dr David Livingstone" by Hyde, Bliss, Tyler. The book includes a history of the Stanley and English relief expeditions and some account of early and contemporary explorers. The book is graced with 144 engravings, maps, and facsimiles. The book has a green cloth cover with gold embossed lettering and an image on the spine. The book shows wear to the corners and edges of the cover, but the pages inside are in good condition. The book measures 9" x 6 1/2" x 2 1/4".
