Description
The lot features a fully loom beaded hat band from the Plains Native American Indians dating to the mid-1900's. The piece has Indian tanned buckskin hide outside tabs with scallop cut edge, Indian tanned hide ties, and a cotton thread-sewn loom-beaded section done in glass trade seed beads with a geometric pattern. The beads show a greasy yellow, semi-transparent, semi-transparent rose, black, red white heart, greasy blue, and greasy green. Measures overall 30" L from end of hide ties and 1.5" W.
