Group of Civil War Objects including harmonica reeds, Union Eagle coat button, lead bullets (some chewed), and other lead artifacts, mostly recovered from Appomattox, VA. The objects have certificates and letters that indicate where the objects were found. The group includes:
Framed, chewed lead bullets recovered from a Camp Hospital at Appomattox, VA.
Framed, harmonica reed left behind when General A.S. Johnston's troops left Utah to fight in the Civil War, ca 1850-1860.
Encapsulated, Union Eagle Button with strong detail, which measures 13/16 inches in diameter with some thread attached to the shank, recovered in Appomattox, VA.
Framed, harmonica reed recovered in Manassas, VA.
Framed, chewed lead bullets recovered in Centreville, VA.
Housed in custom wood box, bullets and lead artifacts recovered from area around Fort Fisher in North Carolina, purchased from Gettysburg Relics.
