Up for sale from a recent estate in Honolulu this late 1960s Hawaii framed pallet knife heavy impasto oil painting that is untitled but depicts a a group of children playing under a giant Banyan tree and was painted by the local artist Hopes. Due to the style of painting there is a lot of movement in the piece. The condition is described below - for more details please check the photos. In case you would like to have the piece conserved I am working locally with a conserver.

Painting (by sight) 20 inches x 16 inches
Frame 22.5 inches x 18.75 inches


Condition: The painting is overall in poor pre-owned condition, paint is stable and frame is fine, but there is tearing to the canvas just above the lower frame bar from left almost to the center, you dont see it due to the texture of the painting until you get really close (see last photo close up),"
