Provenance: Ex-collection Mr. & Mrs. Donald Reuter, Stinson Beach, California, possibly acquired directly from the artist. [The Reuters were serious collectors of Chinese and Japanese artworks, both modern and antique.] Acquired from Mr. & Mrs. Reuter by the present owner in the 1990's.
