In good "as found" condition. The surface appears to be an old or original finish that has subsequently been French-polished. It presently exhibits minor mars, wear and scrapes, most notably a filled or repaired section on the top, and small dings and veneer flakes to perimeter edges. The case is sturdy and functional. Brass gallery with minor bends. The doors are locked with no key present. The upper foot of the brass false stile separating the doors is bent and loose. Each side has two panels. All panels exhibit horizontal shrinkage buckles or waves, with some corresponding veneer tears.
