in the Queen Anne taste, of traditional form with arched backs, closed arms extending to cylindrical supports, serpentine front seat rails and raised on cabriole legs in the front and rear, ending in trifid feet, retaining Hickory Chair labels.

Both chairs are sturdy, solid and functional, with no movement observed in the joints of the legs and frame, and tight arms and backs. The upholstery exhibits light to moderate wear. No rips or tears observed. The seat cushions are reversible. There is a notable stain on one side of one seat cushion.
