For your consideration is Chinese Kangxi-style blue and white porcelain baluster vase with prunus blossom decoration. The classically formed vase is completely covered with nicely detailed, crisp white prunus blossoms set on a rich blue background. The underside of the vase is marked with a Kangxi style double ring mark, but this vase is attributed to a manufacture date in the late Qing Dynasty - circa 1900.

Provenance: From the private collection of a retired Army Major General in San Antonio, Texas.

Item is in excellent condition with no breaks, chips, discoloration or repairs. There are two very tight hairline cracks extending from the rim of the vase but these are very stable and in no danger of worsening with appropriate handling. Please see all images for more information on condition.
