The walnut cover inlaid in the center in various woods with a diamond outlined in herringbone bands, flanked by two wide bands continuing to the front and inlaid in a pattern of mosaics, opening to a tray of compartments, lifting out to reveal a well and purple baize-lined hinged fold-out writing surface. H: 5.75 in., W: 11.75 in., D: 8.75 in.
