Description
A group of four Victoria Taxco mid-century modern copper and sterling tea service items. Made by Ana Nunez Brilanti (Mexican, 1910-1999) who established her workshop, Victoria, in Taxco in 1940. She is credited as the first artist to introduce the process of using mixed metal in the making of Taxco items. The lot includes a bulbous form water pitcher, a creamer jar, a sugar jar, and a tray. Both the creamer jar and the sugar jar can be fitted into the tray.
Dimensions are: the water pitcher measures 8 1/2 inches tall X 8 inches wide, 21.59 cm X 20.32 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The water pitcher has some scratches to the surface and use wear. The sugar jar is missing the spoon and is tarnished on the lid with some minor use wear. The creamer and tray has some minor surface wear.
