An oil on canvas portrait of a gentleman from the mid 19th century. The man wears a suit jacket with his hand partially placed in the opening of the jacket. On his hand is a ring and he gazes out at the viewer. Written on the back is "Theodore Kelley New York painting preparer."

Dimensions are: framed, 38 inches tall X 32 1/2 inches wide, 96.52 cm X 82.55 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: There is some scattered touch up to the background and jacket, craquelure to finish, and the canvas has been sealed from the back with some of the sealer having bleed through to the front.
