Description

PRUSSIAN HUSSAR OFFICERS BUSBY A Prussian Hussar Busby belonging to an officer. Dark brown fur body with nickel silver bandeau reading "Mit Gott Fuer Koenig und Vaterland." Overlapping brass convex scaled chin straps are complete with side bosses and officer's colors cockade. Silver bullion "feldzeichen" is mounted over bandeau along with a white and black feathered plume of 11 1/2" in length. Silver cords are knotted to side and loop to rear. Red kolpak covers black liner. Interior leather sweatband and cloth liner are in good condition. , Size: 4" tall 9" diameter, Est. 1000-2000, Lot 30730
