Description
A pocket watch made some hundred years ago by the Swiss watch company Tavannes, which was established in 1891 by a Swiss Jew named Adrian Schwob. Together with his partner Henry Sandoz, Schwob set up their watch factory in the small Swiss town of Tavannes.
Upon the clock's white- colored face are painted Hebrew letters that are the numerical equivalents of the usual numbers.
This type of watch was surely intended for the Jewish customers of this veteran watch company.
