Description

DESCRIPTION: An antique Weidlich Brothers W.B. MFG Co. writing desk set in burl wood. Designed with a french style with a lidded trinket box, a drawer, and ink and pen holder, and a tray. Decorated with a classical cabochon figure and french motifs on stoppers, depicting painted illustrations with architectural scenes of Paris, with "L Eglise de la Madeleine (Madeleine Church) and L Arc de Triumph du Carrousel (The Carrousel Triumphal Arch). The inkwell is marked on the underbase with the hallmark "W.B. MF Co.".

CIRCA: 20th Century.
DIMENSIONS: H: 8" W: 11 1/4" D: 9".
