Two firkins with swing handles in green paint. The first with unusual hinged lid, scraped down to the original green paint with paint losses including the worn lid, but overall good structural condition - 19th century - 10"H x 9 1/2" diameter at base; the second, in original green paint with some wear, signed R.C.H in yellow paint across the front and impressed with initials LYB on top of lid - note the hand forged tacks at the ends of all the single finger hoops - the lid with some chips/losses where the perimeter hoop is attached with wooden pegs -the overlapping hoop finger on the lid is missing the end portion.
