The lot includes a vintage Resin Geometric Clear bud vase with hand carved painted wood ducks, possibly Canadian; antique 19th century photographs, vintage World War II period photographs and postcards; and a large Asian scroll depicting a classic landscape handpainted with ink on paper, with a wooden box. The provenance of items can be tracked back to Felix Kuranda in XIX Century Austrian Empire, member of a well known family of bankers and politicians; directly related to the Karpeles, Wittelshofer, Milne And Lederer families. The most chronological recent lots are former belongings from USA veteran Major Thom Stellinger-Scott related through marriage with the Kuranda lineage. He was a veteran of Korean War as well as a reputed amateur photographer and artist. The Stellinger-Scott family resided for decades at Montauk Long Island NY.
