Pair of Chinese Ming Dynasty Wanli Red and Green Glazed Porcelain Gu Beaker Vases. Potted in a traditional Gu beaker shape vases, having baluster shaped body, large, tall and thick, bulging belly on the mid, trumpet-shaped on the tall neck, emerging auspicious rectangles flanked in each section, raised with high round flaring foot base, like reverse bowl with splayed foot base and deep concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against red and green fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring line. Made in The Years WanLi Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
