A PAIR OF SÈVRES STYLE PARCEL GILT AND ORMOLU MOUNTED BLUE GROUND LIDDED URNS, MARKED, 20TH CENTURY, each with a cobalt blue double domed lid with sides centering gilt trailing floral sprays and topped by a pineapple bronze finial, set on a conforming egg-and-dart bronze rim above a similarly gilt shoulder flanked by curling acanthus wrapped bracket form cast handles, ending on sides with colorfully decorated oval reserves depicting young maiden shepherdesses with companion sheep and attendant beauties resting amidst garden statuary in a verdant setting, while a youth in 18th-century attire flirts in various positions, signed by artist, lower right "Lisel,' above a tapering bulbous base with gilt beaded "C" scrolls and stylized shells reversing to gilt blossoming clusters enclosed by curling foliate branches, raised on a short stem and spreading circular socle trimmed by a leaf tip cast ring on a dimpled square form bronze plinth, verso bearing overglaze black intertwined "L's" mark and bronze stamped "4674 GD."
