Description
Superb Ancient Head Band or Llauto, Probably Inca Period. Head band or llautu in sling copy form. Beginning among the Nazca people are shown in ceramic renditions wearing slings as headwraps. This example has a precise bast fiber pouch and a bast and alpaca cord border and bast strings. There is no finger ring at the end of the strings, so the item was not meant to be operational only ceremonial. Total Length: 63" (160 cm). Excellent condition. Ex.
