Description
Large Japanese Imari Porcelain Charger, 17th/18th C. Border consists of alternating stylized dark blue designs filled with orange white chrysanthemums and mythical lions and birds. Center with two intersecting squares forming an 8-point star framing a Japanese lady sitting before a screen or house with tree blossom background. Provenance: Ex. Collection Nana and Tony Horton. Size: 21.5'' x 21.5'' x 3.75'' (55 x 55 x 10 cm).
