Condition
nice older finish, with some light sunfading to exterior which is minor overall; the base is sturdy and stable overall, and bears period casters, one side stretcher is slightly loose; some occasional splitting to veneers (particularly to apron of base) and some noted repairs / patches commensurate with age; the top surface with long crack, which has been filled and terminates in a noticeable patch; the reverse side of top and back reveal new brass hinges and screws; no key present, and lock mechanism does not function, recessed area for lock now covered with wood patch; interior painted decoration remains vivid and bright; Freeman's does not guarantee functionality for piano playing - when struck most keys play note (but not all), some keys stick when struck, and the keys are out of tune. No information on tuning or repair history.
