For your consideration is a Chinese rose famille plaque depicting an immortal - likely Cao Yi/Cao Jingxui/Cao Guojiu. Chinese calligraphy surrounds the figure as do various seals and the reign mark for the Qianlong period (1736-1795). The enamel decorations are vibrant, detailed and well-composed and the tile is housed in a traditional style wooden frame with hanger. Plaque is attributed to the Republic Period.

Provenance: From a private collection in Covington, Louisiana.
