The event was held in Paris at the Maison de la Chimie and featured a piano recital by virtuoso Gyorgy Cziffra, also known as Georges Cziffra and George Cziffra. Victor Vasarely, born Gyozo Vasarhelyi, was a Hungarian-French artist, who is widely accepted as a founder and leader of the Op Art movement. His work entitled Zebra, created in the 1930s, is considered by many to be one of the earliest examples of Op Art.
