3 1/2 x 5 1/2 in. (visible) cabinet photograph housed in frame (faded, occasional abrasions, not examined out of frame). Typed label affixed to glass reads, "Joe F. Eleanora and Our old faithful Old Aunt Moriah." Louisville, KY "Art Shop" sticker affixed to frame verso.

A studio portrait of Miriah/Moriah, an older Black woman, holding her charges, two white children, Joe and Eleanora Bosworth. Miriah Young (b. 1830) is listed in the 1900 census of Middlesboro, KY as a "servant" in the household of Joe and Lizzie Bosworth. Their children Joe (b. Sept. 1891) and Elenora [sic] (b.
