Inner front and back hinges split, spine loose, staining and wear to cover and spine, corners bumped, foxing and toning throughout. 2. BELL, ROBERT. Wayside Pictures Through France, Belgium, and Holland. London: Richard Bentley, 1850. Second edition. 8vo. Original red cloth, blind-stamped decoration to cover and spine. Top edges gilt. Drawings and photographic illustrations throughout. Front and back endpaper publisher advertisements. Fair. Cover is worn, faded, soiled, dampstained, binding a bit loose, but pages are clean. 3. ALEXANDER, FRANCESCA. Roadside Songs Tuscany. Part I. The Story of Lucia. New York: John Wiley & Sons, 1884. Edited by John Ruskin. 8vo. 1 engraved illustration by author. Gray paper over boards. Fair. Paper covers are soiled and foxed, board corners exposed, moderate foxing (heaviest on endpapers), bookplate on pastedown. 4. MURRAY, A. H. HALLAM. Sketches on the Old Road Through France to Florence. New York: E. P. Dutton and Company, 1906. Original light brown cloth, front and back covers embossed with shell and fleur de lys pattern, gilt to spine, yellow endpapers. Color plate and line drawings throughout. Good. Cloth is stained, foxing mostly on fore-edges. 5. SWISS PICTURES DRAWN WITH PEN AND PENCIL. London: The Religious Tract Society, n.d. (c. 1870s). With illustrations by Mr. Whymper and others. 4to. Green cloth with black and gilt-stamped pictorial cover and spine. Color scenic frontispiece. All edges gilt. Good. Edgewear, spine and corners bumped, what looks to be dotted ink stains on cover. Inner front and back hinge split, light foxing on endpapers, bookplate on pastedown.
