Description

RARE CANVASBACK DRAKE by August Glass, Florence, NJ, (1905-1973). Appears to be original paint and with some in-use rubs. Very good structural condition. Hollow construction. Retains pad weight and leather rigging. Overall length is approximately 17 inches. Retains maker's identification tag. For an almost identical example, see "Floating Sculpture" by Huster and Knight, page 71. A nice early Delaware River example.
